Description
New 48mm dai-naoshi-kanna (scraper plane). Very thick blade set skewed in the dai standing at 90 degree to the sole and bevel edge at 30 degree. Cutting edge is blue paper 1 steel laminated to wrought iron. Forged by Seikichi Sekikawa under the Tenhiro brand. The dai is made of japanese white oak. Used for conditioning the sole of the plane bodies (dai). Overall length is 169mm, width 68mm.
