Little used 7.5mm Kikai-shakuri-kanna (plow plane)

Description

Little used unrestored 7.5mm Kikai-shakuri-kanna ( machine plow plane). It is described as a machine plow plane because it has an adjustable system using nuts and bolts. Used to cut narrow grooves. It has a wooden sole between which run 3 blades, two for the sides and one for the bottom of the groove. When sharp and well set up, this plane will give faultless results. Excellent tool with a very good red oak dai. Some light surface rust on the screws and tarnish on the brass, but in perfectly usable conditions. A good clean up and a sharpen should be all it’s needed
