70mm hira kanna

Description

A lovely old kanna, almost ready to use with just a little final fettling needed. The dai was cleaned, flattened and set with 3 contact points. The mouth was readjusted by the previous owner. The main blade was cleaned, the bevel was straightened as it was skewed and sharpened (the new owner can finish it to his/her own liking). The maker is unknown to me and the steel I don’t know, but it’s easy to sharpen and the edge is pretty good. See photos for detailed conditions.
