Description
An opportunity to purchase a very good quality tool at a very reasonable price. A 24mm anaya nomi, a long chisel used by Japanese carpenters to create large joinery in timber framed buildings like temples. This is a second, meaning it has small defects, in this case an uneven lamination (just for the first few millimetres as far as I can see from the lamination). The blade is not stamped but the white steel used for the cutting edge by the blacksmith is some of the best I’ve tried. White oak handle, 455mm overall length
